This name comes from the Quechua language, the language of the Incas, and has at least two meanings. One of them means spirit of the mountains, the other condor, taking it as the spirit of the mountains since this bird was a sacred animal for the Incas. This bird is one of the largest birds that can fly and it crosses our skies permanently showing us its majesty in the air over the Andes mountain range.
