Included:

Mountain Guide and Service Coordinator:

  • This person will be responsible for assisting participants in organizing and preparing their equipment for the expedition in Kathmandu and will act as the liaison with the local service provider.
  • In case of evacuations of any group member, they will assist in hospitals or with doctors until the participant resumes their normal activities.
  • A professional mountain guide will lead the group in conjunction with a local Nepali guide during the trekking in the Himalayan mountains.
  • The guide’s service is provided from Kathmandu throughout the entire program and until the group returns to Kathmandu.

 

Transport / Flights:

  • Transfers from the hotel in Kathmandu to the city airport.
  • Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the start of the trekking.
  • Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu airport, at the end of the trekking.
  • Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Kathmandu.

 

Hotel Kathmandu (Thamel) 3 Stars:

  • Four (4) nights in Kathmandu with breakfast included.
  • Based on double occupancy rooms.

 

Mountain Lodge:

  • Twelve (12) nights with breakfast and dinner included.

 

Porter Services with Sherpas:

  • Includes porter service for the entire trek, with 15 kg per person.

 

March Meals:

  • All lunches for the trekking expedition are included in the program.

 

Safety Equipment:

  • All common safety equipment for the group’s use (e.g., ropes, first aid kit, radios, etc.).

Not Included:

Flights:

  • International flights to or from Kathmandu.

 

Visas or Taxes:

  • Airport fees, visas, or taxes for Nepal.

 

Sherpa Porters:

  • More than 15 kg per person is not included.

 

Personal Expenses:

  • Expenses not specified in the included services, such as personal spending.

 

Medical or Evacuation Costs:

  • These costs are not included in the program as they are considered eventual expenses.
  • Evacuations will be coordinated and guaranteed by Mallku Expediciones.
  • Evacuations are considered program abandonment, so associated costs are not included.

 

Personal Equipment:

  • Personal equipment is not included in the program; it may be rented or purchased at specialized stores in Kathmandu if necessary.

 

Meals in Kathmandu:

  • Meals not specified in the trekking itinerary or outside the trekking schedule in Kathmandu.

 

Costs for Abandoning the Program:

  • Any costs arising from abandoning the program itinerary or included services.
  • These costs must be covered by the participant(s) of the expedition.

 

Services not included in the budget may be requested by expedition participants before or during the trip, such as additional porters or coordination for a participant who needs to abandon the trekking itinerary. Mallku Expediciones will coordinate these services based on availability, and costs will be borne by the requesting participant.
